29400 per year Full Time Permanent

This welcoming nursery specialises in delivering high-quality early years education and childcare offering a calm nurturing setting where children feel safe supported and encouraged to become independent learners.

Outdoor learning is a key part of the nurserys approach. Each age group has access to its own dedicated garden space with free-flow access allowing children to move between indoor and outdoor environments throughout the day. Time spent outdoors is seen as an essential part of childrens development encouraging exploration confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

As Room Leader youll lead by example supporting your team to deliver exceptional care and education while creating inspiring experiences for every child.

What Were Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader Senior Nursery Practitioner or an experienced practitioner ready to step into a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
  • Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience supporting and mentoring colleagues.
  • A positive child-centred approach with a genuine passion for early years education.

Your Role

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your room ensuring outstanding standards of care and education.
  • Support coach and motivate your team to deliver high-quality early years practice.
  • Plan engaging activities that promote childrens learning creativity and development.
  • Observe assess and monitor childrens progress in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Build strong relationships with children families and colleagues.
  • Make full use of the nurserys calming indoor environments and dedicated outdoor spaces to create exciting learning opportunities.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding health and safety and nursery practice.
  • Work closely with the management team to continuously enhance the quality of the nursery.
