Room Leader Level 3

Up to 29400 per year 4042 Hours per Week

Were looking for an experienced Level 3 Early Years professional to take the lead of a room within a friendly and established nursery caring for children from 3 months to 5 years.

The setting takes a nurturing approach to Early Years education giving children plenty of opportunities to play investigate create and develop at their own pace. Activities and everyday experiences are thoughtfully planned to build confidence and independence while supporting childrens social emotional physical and educational development.

Is This You

  • You hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
  • You have solid experience within a nursery or Early Years environment.
  • Youve previously worked as a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Practitioner
  • Youre confident with the EYFS framework and understand how to translate it into meaningful everyday experiences.
  • You have excellent safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
  • Youre comfortable guiding motivating and supporting other practitioners.
  • You understand observations assessments and how to identify meaningful next steps.

What Your Day Could Look Like

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day organisation of your room.
  • Create a welcoming environment where children feel happy safe and ready to explore.
  • Lead your team by example and provide support guidance and encouragement.
  • Plan and oversee engaging experiences that bring the EYFS to life through play.
  • Make sure activities reflect childrens individual interests abilities and developmental stages.
  • Encourage confidence curiosity communication and independence.
  • Monitor observations and assessments and ensure childrens learning journeys reflect their development.
  • Support practitioners with their professional development and help strengthen practice across the room.
  • Work closely with the wider nursery and management teams.
  • Maintain consistently high standards of safeguarding health and safety and Early Years practice.
