This welcoming nursery takes a child-centred approach creating a genuine home-from-home environment where every child is known as an individual. With small group sizes practitioners have the time to build strong relationships and provide personalised support helping children feel safe confident and valued.

Outdoor learning is a huge part of everyday life with children encouraged to spend plenty of time outside exploring taking managed risks and developing their independence through hands-on experiences in nature.

As Room Leader youll play a key role in leading your room team creating inspiring learning opportunities and ensuring every child receives exceptional care and education.

What Were Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Room Leader Senior Nursery Practitioner or an experienced practitioner ready to step into a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
• Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for outdoor learning and child-led education.
• A caring positive and nurturing approach.

Your Role

• Lead the day-to-day running of your room ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Inspire support and mentor practitioners within your team.
• Plan engaging child-led activities that promote curiosity confidence and independence.
• Make the most of the outdoor environment to create exciting learning opportunities every day.
• Observe assess and monitor childrens progress in line with the EYFS framework.
• Build strong relationships with children families and colleagues.
• Maintain safeguarding health and safety and nursery standards at all times.
• Support the wider management team in maintaining a positive home-from-home nursery environment.
