Job Summary
Room Leader
32000 per annum 40 Hours Per Week
This role offers the chance to take the lead within your room creating a positive and engaging learning environment where children can learn explore and develop confidence through play-based experiences. Youll work closely with a supportive management team while mentoring colleagues and helping to maintain the high standards of care and education throughout the nursery.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nursery Practitioner Senior Practitioner or existing Room Leader looking to further their leadership career within a nursery that genuinely invests in its people.
What Were Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous experience as a Room Leader Senior Nursery Practitioner or similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience supporting and mentoring team members
- A nurturing and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
- Support mentor and develop practitioners within the room
- Plan and oversee engaging activities that support childrens learning and development
- Monitor childrens progress through observations and assessments
- Build positive relationships with children families and colleagues
- Create a safe stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Promote high standards of practice across the room
- Maintain safeguarding health & safety and nursery standards at all times
