31100 per annum 40 Hour per week All Year Round

What Our Client Is Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - essential
• Experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner within a nursery setting
• A warm nurturing leadership style that fits naturally into a close-knit characterful setting
• A solid understanding of EYFS and early childhood development
• A genuine enthusiasm for forest school and outdoor learning
• Reliable enthusiastic and a strong communicator with families and staff

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day running of your room creating a warm stimulating environment where every child feels safe and inspired
• Planning and delivering creative engaging activities in line with EYFS incorporating forest school principles and outdoor learning
• Making full use of the nurserys wonderful garden and forest school sessions to enrich childrens daily experiences
• Observing and documenting childrens development sharing progress meaningfully with families
• Mentoring and supporting room-based staff acting as a positive and consistent role model
• Building warm trusting relationships with children families and colleagues
• Contributing to the wider nursery team and upholding the nurserys Good Ofsted standards
