Job Summary
Room Leader Pre-School Room
32800 per annum 40 hours per week All Year Round
Be part of a warm and welcoming nursery based in a charming converted building featuring spacious rooms and a beautiful garden designed to inspire exploration and play.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Room Leader to lead a pre-school room supporting children as they develop confidence independence and key skills for their transition to school. The setting promotes curiosity and creativity through a play-based approach to learning.
What Were Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification essential
- Proven experience as a Room Leader essential
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- A nurturing caring approach to childcare
- Confident leadership skills with the ability to support and guide a team
- Strong communication skills when working with families and colleagues
- Passion for supporting childrens development and school readiness

Key Responsibilities
- Leading the pre-school room and ensuring high-quality care and education
- Planning and delivering engaging play-based activities in line with EYFS
- Supporting childrens development independence and school readiness
- Creating a safe stimulating and nurturing environment
- Building strong relationships with children families and colleagues
- Monitoring and tracking childrens progress
- Supporting and guiding team members within the room
- Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety standards are consistently met
