Level 3 Room Leader

31700 per annum

Full-Time 40 hours per week

Housed in a beautiful converted building with a cosy home-from-home feel and a fun outdoor area where children can have adventures and make memories our clients Good Ofsted-rated nursery is a setting that feels special from the moment you walk in.

They are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to take ownership of their room inspire their team and help deliver the high standard of care and education this nursery is known for.

What Our Client Is Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - essential
• Experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner within a nursery setting
• A warm nurturing leadership style that fits naturally into a home-from-home environment
• A solid understanding of EYFS and early childhood development
• Someone who embraces outdoor learning and loves seeing children have fun and explore
• Reliable enthusiastic and a strong communicator with families and staff

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day running of your room with warmth confidence and consistency
• Creating a cosy stimulating environment that reflects the nurserys home-from-home ethos
• Planning and delivering creative engaging activities in line with EYFS
• Making the most of the fun outdoor area encouraging children to explore adventure and play freely
• Observing and documenting childrens development sharing progress meaningfully with families
• Mentoring and supporting room-based staff acting as a positive and consistent role model
• Contributing to the wider nursery team and upholding the nurserys Good Ofsted standards
