Position Summary

As a Roofing Laborer you willassistRoofers and Foremen to prepare job sites and install roofing systems includingmetal shingles single-ply (TPO PVC and EPDM) slate asphalt aluminum wood and related materials.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High school/GED preferred but notrequired
• Experience: General construction experience preferred
• Drivers License:Preferred but notrequired

• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced physically demanding environment.

• Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials.
• Ability to use a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Problem-solving skills with a willingness to ask questions and communicate concerns.

What Youll Do

• Prepare job sites andmaintaina clean safe work environment.
• Remove debris from roofs and surrounding work areas.
• Assistwith installing insulation vapor barriers and roofing materials.
• Assistwith installing and repairingroofing systems using materials such as metal shingles slate asphalt aluminum wood and single-ply systems.
• Apply adhesives sealants caulking and roofing cement as needed.
• Safelyoperatehand tools power tools vehicles and other job-related equipment.
• Follow company safety procedures andidentifypotential hazards.
• Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

Work Environment

This position requires working in a variety of environmental conditions including:

• Exposure to extremely bright or inadequate lighting.
• Working in temperatures above 90F or below 32F.
• Exposure to loud distracting or uncomfortable noise levels.
• Exposure to contaminants hazardous materials and potentially hazardous equipment.
• Working at heights and in other potentially dangerous conditions.
• Exposure to minor injuries such as burns cuts bites or stings.
• Performing work where errors may have significant consequences. Strict adherence to all safety policies procedures and regulations isrequired.
