Job Summary
Our client provides a range of freight solutions covering European markets and provides a smooth transition service from door to door.
They are currently seeking an experienced European freight forwarding operator to cover both Imports and Exports working within a small team
Duties will include:
Managing the transportation of goods across Europe
Dealing with both European Imports and Exports
Organising Full loads part loads and groupage shipments
Negotiating rates
Contacting shippers and carriers regarding cargo
Tracking shipments and keeping customers updated with regards to their shipments and any delays.
Dealing with customer queries
Managing all paperwork to ensure compliance regulations are met
Liaising with HMRC
Maintaining clear communications with customers carriers and hauliers to ensure smooth operations
Salary 35k negotiable depending on experience.
Requirements
To be successful for the role you will need to have experience of European Road freight operations have good customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
You will be familiar with European customs procedures and be commercially aware.
