Insolvency & Restructuring Paralegal

Location: Manchester

Salary: 24000 to 30000 plus bonus and benefits

Experience: Paralegal level (insolvency experience advantageous but not essential)

If youre a paralegal who enjoys fast-paced problem-solving work and wants exposure to both corporate and personal insolvency this is a great opportunity to join a growing Restructuring & Insolvency team in Manchester.

Our client is looking for a Paralegal to support fee earners across a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters working with Insolvency Practitioners Directors Lenders Creditors and Shareholders.

Youll support the team with day-to-day file handling and case progression helping to run matters from initial instructions through to conclusion. Its a role that suits someone organised proactive and comfortable working to deadlines.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Assisting with file and case handling across a range of insolvency matters
  • Helping to run and progress cases from initial instructions to conclusion
  • Providing administrative and legal support to fee earners across the wider team (including colleagues based in other office locations)
  • Managing tasks and deadlines keeping matters moving and files up to date

What Were Looking For

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident IT skills including MS Office
  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proactive approach and the ability to solve problems effectively
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Previous legal work experience within insolvency and restructuring is advantageous but not essential

Working Arrangements

Permanent full-time role. Hybrid working with a minimum requirement of 2 days per week from the Manchester office.
