The Scottish Governments Resourcing Attraction Team is looking for a talented Graphic and Content Designer to help bring our employer brand to life and showcase the diverse and rewarding career opportunities available across the organisation.

In this varied and creative role you will develop and deliver engaging audience-focused content across a range of digital and print channels helping to attract talented people into roles that make a difference to communities across Scotland. From designing social media campaigns webpages and candidate guides to creating infographics animations and digital advertising your work will play a key role in strengthening our recruitment campaigns enhancing the candidate experience and increasing awareness of Scottish Government careers.

Working closely with recruitment attraction and communications colleagues youll have the opportunity to lead creative projects shape innovative content approaches and use data-driven insights to maximise the impact of your work

  • Create engaging graphic design and digital content to support recruitment and attraction campaigns.
  • Manage creative projects from initial concept through to production testing and delivery.
  • Lead and manage social media content including planning creation scheduling and performance monitoring.
  • Work with recruitment colleagues and stakeholders to develop effective content and attraction strategies.
  • Provide expert advice on design content creation recruitment marketing and digital channels.
  • Ensure all content meets Scottish Government brand accessibility and quality standards.
  • Use data user insights and performance metrics to evaluate and improve content effectiveness.
  • Build strong working relationships share best practice and contribute positively to team and organisational goals.
  • Manage competing priorities effectively while supporting continuous learning and professional development.
