Job Summary

You will teach Design & Technology across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 (GCSE) and Key Stage 5 (A-Level or vocational equivalents) specialising in Product Design Resistant Materials or Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging practical and theory-based DT lessons that nurture innovation problem-solving and design thinking.
Prepare pupils effectively for GCSE and A-Level examinations (AQA / Edexcel specifications).
Maintain the highest standards of workshop safety ensuring equipment and machinery strictly adhere to health and safety regulations.
Contribute to extra-curricular design clubs STEM competitions and pupil portfolio exhibitions.

Safety & Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of health and safety in school workshops (DATA / BS4163 certification is advantageous) and proficiency with CAD/CAM technology.

Compliance: Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to process one).
