We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Residential Support Worker to join our close-knit team. Key Responsibilities:
Provide a safe nurturing and stable environment for young people
Support the physical emotional and behavioural needs of the children in your care
Build positive relationships and encourage personal development and independence
Support with daily routines activities and appointments where required
Maintain a clean tidy and homely environment
Carry out administrative duties maintain accurate records and complete handovers between shifts
Follow care plans risk assessments and safeguarding procedures at all times
Accurately record and report observations and incidents
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Empathy patience and resilience
Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate written records
Flexibility to work a 2 on / 4 off shift pattern including sleep-in duties
Previous experience in a residential care setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
Benefits:
13.21 per hour
50.00 per sleep-in shift
Permanent contract with stable hours
2 on / 4 off shift pattern
