Job Summary

We are a small supportive childrens residential home based in Bacup providing high-quality trauma-informed care to young people. We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Residential Support Worker to join our close-knit team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe nurturing and stable environment for young people
- Support the physical emotional and behavioural needs of the children in your care
- Build positive relationships and encourage personal development and independence
- Support with daily routines activities and appointments where required
- Maintain a clean tidy and homely environment
- Carry out administrative duties maintain accurate records and complete handovers between shifts
- Follow care plans risk assessments and safeguarding procedures at all times
- Accurately record and report observations and incidents
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Empathy patience and resilience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate written records
- Flexibility to work a 2 on / 4 off shift pattern including sleep-in duties
- Previous experience in a residential care setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
Benefits:
