About the Employer
We are delighted to be supporting arespected legal firm with the recruitment of a Paralegal to join its specialistPrivate Wealth Property team in Edinburgh.
This is a key role supportingresidential conveyancing matters across Scotland including sales titletransfers discharges of standard securities and associated propertydocumentation.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an organised anddetail-focused Paralegal to support two practising solicitorswith residential conveyancing transactions from application through tocompletion.
Therole would suit someone confident dealing directly with clients managingdocumentation and helping to maintain high service standards across a busyproperty team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support residential house sale processes from application to completion.
- Prepare correspondence LBTT drafts registration forms and conveyancing documentation.
- Order legal reports plans reports and associated property searches.
- Liaise with solicitors legal support colleagues and clients to maintain service standards.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly transaction status reports.
- Attend relevant CPD training and networking events where required.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the supervising solicitor.
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills& Experience
- Knowledge of Scottish residential conveyancing including sasine and land registered titles.
- Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Good IT office systems and file management skills.
- Able to prioritise workload meet deadlines and work accurately under supervision.
- Proactive professional and collaborative approach.
- Confident building relationships with clients and colleagues.
Desirable
- Law degree paralegal qualification or directly relevant work experience.
