Residential Conveyancer / Conveyancing Executive

Location: Middlesbrough

Salary: 32000 to 45000 plus bonus and benefits

Experience: 4 years residential conveyancing experience

If youre a residential conveyancer who enjoys running matters end-to-end taking real ownership of client relationships and delivering a first-class service this could be a great opportunity.

This is a full-time role in Middlesbrough handling a busy caseload of sale and purchase matters from file opening through to completion.

Youll manage your own caseload with minimal supervision covering freehold and leasehold transactions. The role also suits someone motivated to build and maintain a strong local client base with a focus on quality consistency and client care throughout the conveyancing process.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Managing a busy caseload of residential sale and purchase matters from file opening through to completion
  • Handling matters at all stages from initial instruction through to archiving in line with office and accounts procedures
  • Taking instructions from clients and advising accordingly
  • Obtaining and preparing file documentation
  • Billing files and ensuring monies due are obtained from clients and other parties
  • Taking on delegated supervisory responsibilities as required
  • Maintaining and developing legal knowledge and skills

What Were Looking For

  • 4 years experience at a similar level within residential conveyancing
  • Strong technical conveyancing knowledge across freehold and leasehold transactions
  • Ability to deal with technical detail and explain solutions clearly and in a client-friendly way
  • Literate and numerate with strong written English for client-facing documents
  • Confident spoken English and ability to handle telephone enquiries professionally
  • Organised accurate and comfortable working under pressure
  • Able to prioritise workload meet deadlines and work on your own initiative
  • Team player with a flexible can-do approach
  • Confident IT skills including Windows Word and Excel
  • Understanding of the Solicitors Code of Conduct
