Summary

This is a 3-4 month contract role with a local authority aimed at leading and managing the Tenant Engagement Team. The role is crucial in ensuring residents have a central role in shaping housing services. The successful candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive Resident Engagement Strategy fostering meaningful involvement co-production and consultation while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Resident Engagement Team including performance management supervision and budget oversight.
Develop and deliver a compliant and effective Resident Engagement Strategy aligned with regulatory standards.
Build strong relationships with tenants residents elected members and key stakeholders to ensure meaningful engagement.
Ensure resident feedback is captured analysed and used to drive improvements in service delivery and design.
Promote innovative engagement methods to reach diverse and seldom-heard communities.

Requirements:

Essential Experience Required

Significant experience in resident engagement co-design and scrutiny ideally within social housing or a regulated environment.
Experience developing and delivering engagement strategies that influence service design and delivery.
Proven experience managing teams performance budgets and operational services.

Essential Qualifications Required

Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in housing community engagement or a related field.
CIH Level 5 qualification (or working towards / willingness to undertake).
