Research Analyst, In-Vitro Metabolism (1-Year Fixed-Term Contract)

Labcorp is seeking aResearch Analystto join our In-Vitro Metabolism team inHarrogate North Yorkshire.

Work Schedule:37h/week Monday Thursday 8.45am 5pm Friday 8.45am 4.30pm.

Job Responsibilities:

• Developing competent basic laboratory skills.
• Setting up and performing appropriate assays based on the study protocol and in conjunction with the study team.
• Participating in study protocol reviews and meetings (i.e. pre-initiation meeting).
• Maintaining study documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Reviewing own work for overall accuracy timeliness completeness and soundness of technical judgment.
• Delivering results within agreed timeframe.
• Maintaining a clean and safe laboratory work environment and performing routine maintenance.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Educated to BSc or equivalent in a relevant life science subject. Relevant experience may be substituted for academic qualifications.

Additional Job Standards:

• Ideally experience of working in an analytical lab environment and skilled in the use of all standard laboratory equipment.
• Experience of Metabolism study types such as ADME PK Protein binding drug-drug interaction or relevant techniques is preferred but not essential
• Excellent motivation I.T. communication and organizational skills.
• Scientific curiosity and problem-solving skills.
