Job Title: Repairing Operative We are currently recruiting for a Repairing Operative to join our busy Cut & Inspect Department. This is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours per week Monday to Wednesday 1330 - 2400 and Thursday of pay starting from 13.45 per hour dependant on experience. About the RoleAs a Repair Operative at Johnstons of Elgin you will:Carry out repairs to fabrics and products and fix faults using a range of repair detailed work instructions and quality excellent attention to detail while achieving production and resolve faults to ensure products are finished to the highest collaboratively with colleagues within the Cut & Inspect to maintaining a safe clean and organised working pride in producing luxury products that reflect the craftsmanship and heritage of Johnstons of youThis is what were looking for in our ideal candidate:Show an interest in fashion textiles or crafts specifically interest in sewing Have strong creative instincts thinking outside the box to come up with new ideasHave the ability to carefully and accurately follow detailed written instructionsTake pride in doing a job well and never compromise on high standardsBe a team player with good communication skillsHave excellent colour vision Good concentration to stay focused for long periods of timeBe able to work to deadlinesConfidence using scissors for precision work would be an advantage however full training will be UsFounded in 1797 Johnstons of Elgin is an innovative luxury clothing brand celebrating 225 years of experience in working with the worlds finest fibres.
