A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Repair Technician to join a leading engineering and defence organisation based in Waterlooville Hampshire. This position offers the chance to work on advanced radar and electronic systems within a highly technical environment supporting critical defence projects.
The successful Repair Technician will be responsible for component-level fault finding repair and testing of complex electronic assemblies and radar equipment. Based onsite in Waterlooville Hampshire you will support a specialist engineering team carrying out diagnostics modifications and maintenance activities to ensure systems remain fully operational and compliant.
Key responsibilities for this Repair Technician role include:
Component-level fault finding and diagnostics Repair and testing of electronic assemblies and radar equipment Supporting modification and upgrade activities Maintaining workshop tools test equipment and spares Occasional support to remote radar sites when required
To be considered for this opportunity in Waterlooville Hampshire you will need:
A recognised electronics or electrical qualification A minimum of 3 years experience within electronics repair Strong experience with electronic testing and diagnostics Experience working to component level RF or radar experience would be advantageous The ability to obtain UK Security Clearance
This role offers excellent long-term progression training opportunities and the chance to work within a highly advanced engineering environment.
Salary: 35000 - 55000 depending on experience.
