Are you an experienced heating or plumbing engineer ready to work with modern renewable systems
AtFairhiveweregrowing our renewable services and are looking for a skilled Renewable Operative to help deliver high-quality sustainable heating solutions across our homes. This isa great opportunityto develop yourexpertisein air source heat pump systems while making a genuine difference to residents comfort safety and energy efficiency.
About the role
Youllbe responsible fordelivering a full range of air source heat pump (ASHP) services across occupied and void properties including servicing repairs fault diagnosis and supporting installations.
Your role will include:

Servicingmaintaining and repairing air source heat pumps and domestic heating systems

Diagnosing faults and delivering a right-first-time cost-effective solution

Inspecting properties to assess and planrequiredworks

Recording all work accurately using a PDA system

Supporting both planned and reactive maintenance programmes

Working collaboratively with the wider heating team including supporting gas servicing whenrequired
As a key representative ofFairhiveyoullprovide a professional friendly service to residents ensuring a positive customer experience on every visit.
Youllalso take part in a call-out rota to support emergency repairs outside of normal working hours.
Whatwerelooking for
Werelooking for a skilled tradesperson with strong technical knowledge and a customer-first mindset.
Youllhave:

NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Plumbing Heating or Mechanical Installation (or equivalent)

ACS qualifications and Gas Safe registration

Experience working with domestic heating systems ideally including air source heat pumps

Full UK driving licence
-
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability

Good IT skills (PDA / job systems)

Excellent communication and customer service skills
