• Plan and deliver Religious Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Teach relevant religious ethical and philosophical topics.

• Develop pupils critical thinking discussion and written evaluation skills.

• Encourage respectful debate and informed consideration of different viewpoints.

• Prepare pupils for relevant GCSE assessments.

• Assess progress and provide feedback to support improvement.

• Adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs.

• Holds QTS and a relevant Religious Studies or related qualification.

• Has secure subject knowledge and an interest in ethical and philosophical issues.

• Can facilitate balanced respectful classroom discussion.

• Demonstrates strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Can support pupils with differing abilities and perspectives.

• Is committed to inclusive teaching and high academic expectations.

The indicative salary is MPS/UPS depending on experience and the employing schools arrangements.
