A high-performing Outstanding secondary school in Harrow is looking to appoint a committed and knowledgeable Religious Education Teacher from October Half Term 2026.

The successful teacher will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 helping students develop a strong understanding of religious philosophical and ethical issues.

Youll be responsible for:

• Teaching Religious Education across KS3 & KS4

• Planning and delivering well-structured challenging lessons

• Preparing students for GCSE Religious Studies where required

• Encouraging students to discuss and evaluate different viewpoints

• Developing students knowledge critical thinking and written responses

• Assessing progress and providing clear constructive feedback

• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations

• Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development

• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school

The school is looking for a qualified Religious Studies Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.

Youll need to be confident delivering lessons that encourage students to ask questions challenge ideas and develop well-reasoned opinions.
