A sixth form-focused college in Hatfield is seeking an engaging Religious Education and Philosophy Teacher to join its humanities team immediately. The successful candidate will encourage students to explore ethical philosophical and religious questions through thoughtful discussion and analysis.
Teach RE and Philosophy: Deliver lessons across GCSE and post-16 groups.
Develop philosophical thinking: Encourage students to construct arguments and evaluate different viewpoints.
Prepare examination students: Provide structured teaching revision and assessment support.
Explore contemporary issues: Link religious and philosophical concepts to real-world debates.
Promote respectful discussion: Create a classroom environment where students can express ideas thoughtfully.
Support enrichment: Contribute to lectures discussion groups and academic societies.
