Regulatory Insights Analyst

The Role

The Regulatory Insights Analyst willbe responsible foranalysingboth qualitative and quantitative data to understand andmonitorrisk across the profession we Power BISQLand other tools they will build andmaintaindashboards and produce written analysis and reports that give colleagues and senior leaders a cleartimelyview of emerging risks and trends. They will also help develop our key performance indicators (KPIs) key outcome indicators (KOIs)and management information turning complex data into accessible insights that support effective risk-based regulation in the public interest.

Key responsibilitiesof the post:

• Conduct analysis usingappropriate analyticaltechniques and tools such as Power BI and SQL toidentifyemerging themes and risks in the regulated profession.

• Develop reports and insights based on this analysis in support of decision making including to senior management.

• Develop andmaintainour key performance indicators (KPIs) key outcome indicators (KOIs)and management information.

• Maintain the BSBs regulatory risk management framework ensuring that it is up-to-dateaccurateand that stakeholders are aware of our steps to manage risk to our regulatoryobjectives.

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders at the BSB toidentifyand assess potential risks and emerging trends.

• Contribute to the development of the BSBs strategies and plans.

• Participate in the development and delivery of training programs related to BSB regulatory risk management and analysis.

Key skills and experiencerequiredinclude:

• Degree Level Qualification or relevant experience

• Experience in collatingsummarisingand presenting complex information to different audiences.

• Good IT skills including a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word Excel PowerPoint.

• Experience with conducting data analysis and data modelling including the use of Power BI and SQL.

• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and draw conclusions
