Registrar 10627 permanent contract 22.2 hours per week 29064 to 31022 per annum pro rata GradeF Norwich - countywide travel

We are looking for a Registrar to join the Norfolk Registration Service to help deliver a vital service across the county.

Registrars are there to record all the significant events in life. They register births and deaths and take notices of marriages and civil partnerships. They conduct and register marriages and civil partnerships and offer other associated services.

We need someone to join our team in Norwich to ensure this frontline service is delivered to customers effectively and registration there is a lot to learn and retain and we provide thorough training for all the duties. You will be a quick learner who can perform well under pressure and at speed and is comfortable working alone.

You need to adapt well to change and be flexible as the duties may vary from week to this role you may need to travel to offices around the county sometimes at short notice so you must hold a current driving licence and have your own transport.

The post includes regular Saturday working with enhanced pay. You must possess excellent IT skills spelling and grammar and will need to have good inter-personal skills. Experience in a public facing role within a regulatory framework is essential. You will need to demonstrate a commitment to great customer service and meet our high expectations for service delivery and teamwork.
