We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) to join our team at Chine House Veterinary Hospital on a 912 month maternity cover basis. We would also consider applications from 3rd year Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs).

About Us

Chine House is a friendly RCVS-accredited small animal hospital with an excellent reputation for delivering high standards of patient care. We are proud to run our own out-of-hours service providing continuity of care for our patients.

Our purpose-built hospital is well-equipped featuring:

• Separate cat dog and exotic wards
• 4 operating theatres
• Dedicated dental and imaging suites
• In-house laboratory and digital X-ray
• Multiple consulting rooms

We also have a separate Equine Hospital on site making this a diverse and interesting environment to work in.

The Team

Youll be joining a large supportive team comprising:

• 11 Small Animal Vets
• 18 RVNs and SVNs
• 3 Auxiliary Nurses
• 13 Reception Team Members

Our structure ensures that auxiliary employees manage theatre prep cleaning and equipment allowing you to focus fully on nursing duties and patient care.

The Role

This is a busy and rewarding role in a fast-paced hospital environment ideal for a nurse who is enthusiastic proactive and keen to build on their clinical skills.

• Salary - 25000 to 28000
• 37.5 hours per week
• Shifts between 7:00am 8:00pm
• Includes OOH night and weekend shifts
• Opportunity to work with exotics cases (full training provided)

What Were Looking For

• Qualified RVN (or 3rd year SVN)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work well within a team in a busy environment
• A genuine passion for delivering excellent patient care
• Interest in exotics is advantageous but not essential
