Are you an ITU / Critical Care nurse looking for a new and exciting role

Spire Nottingham Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse to join our exceptional Intensive Care Unit (ITU) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly skilled and supportive critical care environment delivering outstanding patient-centred care to elective surgical patients.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient-centred care within a critical care setting.
  • Assess plan implement and evaluate care for complex patient caseloads.
  • Use specialist clinical equipment and monitoring technology.
  • Promote best practice and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
  • Support colleagues and participate in ongoing professional development.

Who were looking for:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC) with recent critical care/ITU experience.
  • 1-2 years Post-registration Critical Care qualification.
  • Demonstrated critical care competencies.
  • Current ALS PILS or ILS certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to professional development and accountable practice.
