Job Summary

Were looking for Registered Nurses for our Care Home based in New Milton Hampshire The Care home offers 24/7 residential care elderly care end of life care respite care and general nursing care as well as dementia care.

  • Night shifts available 8pm-8am 12-hour shifts
  • Pay rate 21.7- 22.7 per hour depending on the experience
  • Full-time
  • Paid breaks

About the role:

As our Registered Nurse youll be responsible for all care and nursing needs of our residents.

  • Youll supervise the delivery of care by the care team and will identify training and development needs.
  • Your warm supportive and caring nature will help you build meaningful relationships with our residents and you will get to know everything about their likes and dislikes as well as their care and nursing needs.

Information about the Role:

Working as an RGN Nurse (Registered General Nurse)

  • Assess patient health problems and needs develop and implement nursing care plans and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill injured and long term service users.
  • Behave in a professional and discreet manner at all times and in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
  • Be competent and confident in managing people with long term health conditions.
  • Assess diagnose plan implement and evaluate interventions/treatments for service users with complex needs.
  • Proactively identify diagnose and manage treatment plans for service users (as appropriate).
  • Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist service users in complex
  • urgent or emergency situations including initiation of effective emergency care.
  • Recognise and work within own competence level
  • Produce accurate contemporaneous and complete records of service user interaction and consultation consistent with legislation policies and procedures.
  • Support manage and guide support workers on a daily basis.
  • Continual personal development to develop oneself and the role.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK NMC Pin
  • Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
  • Have the right to the work in the UK
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have own transportation to get to work is desirable
