Job Summary
With nearly 25 years of experience our Bathgate location in Scotland UK is an integral part of Catalents European clinical supply services network. This 141000 sq. ft. facility has a comprehensive range of capabilities to support sponsors studies throughout the UK Europe and beyond including clinical supply management FastChain demand-led supply clinical-scale commercial packaging and QP release services.
We have high-speed automated primary packaging for blisters as well as semi-automated primary packaging for bottles. We offer packaging design services on site as well as secondary packaging and clinical labeling services.
Position Summary
We have an opportunity for a Regional Supervisior Global/ UK/EU to join our this role you will lead and support regional teams to ensure effective workload management and operational excellence. You will oversee master data activities maintain compliance and drive process improvements. This position offers the chance to collaborate globally and foster a high-performing team culture.
Shift: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours p/w
Location: Bathgate UK

The Role
- Lead and develop regional MDM GOPP and GOPD teams.
- Manage workloads KPIs quality and operational performance.
- Oversee accurate master data pre-production and pre-distribution activities.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs GxP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits change controls deviations and CAPA activities.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent processes and business continuity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues and meet business objectives.
- Foster a high-performing collaborative and customer-focused team culture.
The Candidate
Minimum Requirements
- Experience in MDM supply chain clinical trial materials pharmaceutical operations or a regulated environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of GxP SOPs change controls CAPAs and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
Preferred Skills & Background
- Experience with ERP master data clinical supply or distribution management systems.
- Pharmaceutical biotechnology clinical supply or other regulated industry experience.
- APICS certification.
- Experience working within global teams and supporting operations across multiple regions and time zones.
- Flexibility to support occasional travel and business-critical activities outside standard working hours.
