Regional Operations Manager

Job Summary
Operational Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution and delivery of customer projects within the region ensuring on-time on-budget and high-quality outcomes.
- Manage day-to-day regional operations including project planning resource allocation and capacity management.
- Ensure compliance with company processes quality standards and safety regulations.
- Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions in a proactive manner.
- Foster close collaboration between engineering project management and support functions to ensure seamless delivery.
- Continuously monitor KPIs (employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction) and operational performance metrics and implement improvements where needed.
- Actively collaborate with resource centers to share best practices and coordinate cross-border support when needed.
- Act as the escalation point for key operational challenges within the region.
Commercial Support & Growth
- Actively support sales and business development by focusing on strategic customers for whom our technical capabilities footprint quality and customer support (Avernas differentiators) are valued by:
- Bringing subject-matter expertise in Test Quality & Precision Assembly by a group of customer-oriented and facing subject-matter experts;
- Building strong relationships/partnerships in order to better understand their expectations.
People Leadership & Development
- Lead regional teams by managing competencies and strengthening capabilities.
- Identify and develop successors to ensure leadership continuity.
Financial Oversight
- Ensure achievement of gross margin targets.
- Monitor and manage internal time allocation effectively.
- Oversee regional operational and capital expenditure within approved budgets.
Strategic Management
- Align regional operations with broader corporate strategy and stakeholders.
- Contribute to innovation and process improvement in collaboration with global teams.
Qualifications :
- Experience in operations project delivery or engineering management within a technical environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and driving employee development and engagement.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets gross margin targets resource planning and operational performance.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and support business growth through operational and technical expertise.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
