Recruitment & Onboarding Co-ordinator
Job Summary
- Deliver high-quality recruitment and onboarding administrative services.
- Support recruitment campaigns and onboarding activities across various service areas.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of recruitment administration.
- Assist managers and stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
- Conduct compliant Right to Work checks and process Share Code verifications.
- Audit employee files to ensure complete and accurate Right to Work records.
- Maintain documentation on HR systems and resolve documentation gaps.
- Apply knowledge of UK immigration and Right to Work legislation.
- Update the Sponsor Management System (SMS) accurately.
- Coordinate and monitor Right to Work DBS checks Occupational Health clearances references and sponsorship requirements.
- Ensure all checks are completed before employment commences.
- Track progress and follow up on outstanding checks.
- Produce recruitment and onboarding documentation.
- Generate HR correspondence such as variation and probationary letters.
- Maintain accurate HR and recruitment records.
- Serve as the first point of contact for recruitment and onboarding inquiries.
- Manage recruitment and Right to Work mailboxes.
- Provide professional and efficient responses to candidate and manager queries.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems effectively.
- Maintain accurate candidate and employee records.
- Produce reports and management information as needed.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
- Support service improvement initiatives and process standardization.
- Contribute to recruitment and onboarding projects.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Collaborate with Recruitment & Onboarding HR Business Partners People & Culture Employee Relations Payroll & Pensions Occupational Health Hiring Managers Schools and External Stakeholders.
- Provide cover for colleagues and support wider HR and recruitment activities as needed.
- Experience in recruitment and onboarding administration.
- Familiarity with Right to Work and pre-employment checks.
- Knowledge of sponsorship and immigration compliance processes.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in Local Authority or Public Sector.
- Familiarity with TribePad or similar recruitment systems.
- Knowledge of UK Right to Work legislation and sponsorship requirements.
- Experience in a large and complex organization.
- 17.75 per hour (Umbrella)

Required Skills:
Requirements: Qualifications Good standard of education including English and Mathematics. CIPD qualification or working towards membership is desirable. Business Administration HR or Recruitment qualification is advantageous. Knowledge Understanding of recruitment and selection processes. Knowledge of administrative procedures and customer service principles. Understanding of data protection and confidentiality. Awareness of equality diversity and inclusion principles. Knowledge of local authority recruitment processes is desirable. Experience Experience providing administrative support in a busy office environment. Experience supporting managers and customers in service delivery. Experience maintaining records databases and reporting information. Experience using Microsoft Office applications. Previous HR or Recruitment experience is desirable. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Oracle Recruitment Cloud is advantageous. Additional Information This is a 6-month temporary part-time contract. Rate: 24.87 per hour (Umbrella). Location: Catford London. Hybrid working 2 days remote and 1 day office-based (Tuesday). Pay is provided on a bi-weekly basis. Previous local authority or public sector recruitment experience is highly desirable.
