Job Summary

Make your mark for patients

We are looking for a Drug Safety & Benefit-Risk Scientist who is analytical collaborative and adaptable to join our Patient Safety team in Slough UK.

About the role

You will contribute to the evaluation of medicine safety and benefit-risk profiles across development and post-approval activities. Depending on experience you may lead complex assessments mentor colleagues and provide scientific guidance across projects.

Who youll work with

You will be working in a team that partners closely with medical clinical development regulatory and safety experts to support informed decisions throughout the medicine lifecycle.

What youll do

  • Evaluate safety and benefit-risk data to support scientific and regulatory decision-making.
  • Prepare safety assessments reports and benefit-risk documentation for development and marketed products.
  • Interpret clinical and safety data and communicate key findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support signal evaluation risk management activities and safety monitoring strategies.
  • Contribute to inspection-ready documentation and continuous process improvement.
  • For more experienced hires: mentor colleagues and lead complex benefit-risk deliverables.

Interested For this role were looking for the following education experience and skills

  • Advanced degree in life sciences pharmacy medicine or a related discipline.
  • Experience in drug safety pharmacovigilance benefit-risk assessment or clinical development.
  • Ability to interpret complex scientific data and communicate insights clearly.
  • Strong written communication skills and experience preparing scientific documents.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work across global multidisciplinary teams.
  • Additional experience leading projects or mentoring colleagues is an advantage.
