This is an exciting opportunity to join Change Grow Live as part of a new service in Blackpool supporting individuals and communities affected by substance use.

As we begin this new chapter in Blackpool we are looking for two Recovery Coordinators to help shape a service that is compassionate innovative and rooted in the needs of the local community.
This is more than a Recovery Coordinator role. It is an opportunity to be part of building a new service from the beginning helping to create positive pathways for recovery strengthen local partnerships and make a lasting impact for the people we support.
About the Role
As a Recovery Coordinator you will work directly with people affected by substance use you will support people throughout their treatment and recovery journey providing person-centred interventions that promote recovery resilience and independence.
About You
We are looking for people who are compassionate motivated and committed to supporting recovery.
You will ideally have:
- Experience working within substance misuse mental health health social care or related services
- A good understanding of recovery and harm reduction approaches
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities within a busy service
- Good IT and organisational skills
- A collaborative and flexible approach to team working
Most importantly you will share our belief that recovery is possible for everyone.
Additional Information
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
The salary advertised is subject to review in line with the 2025/26 pay award.
Responsibilities
About the Role
You will support people throughout their treatment and recovery journey providing person-centred interventions that promote recovery resilience and independence.
The role will include:
- Managing a caseload of service users
- Completing assessments recovery plans and onward referrals
- Delivering harm reduction and recovery-focused interventions
- Supporting people to improve wellbeing and social inclusion
- Facilitating group work and structured support sessions
- Working collaboratively with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams
- Promoting long-term recovery and positive outcomes
As part of a developing service you will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas support innovation and help shape how support is delivered locally.
