We are looking for a passionate and skilled Family Recovery Coordinator to join our Family Safeguarding Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work directly with families facing complex challenges helping them overcome substance misuse issues and build safer healthier futures.

Working closely with Childrens Services and other partner agencies you will provide intensive tailored support to families on Child Protection and Child in Need planssupporting them on their recovery journey and empowering long-term positive change.

Responsibilities

Family Recovery Coordinator

Service: Blackpool (multi-site: CGL offices Childrens Services community venues and family homes)
Hours: Full-time

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

We are seeking someone with the skills experience and passion to support vulnerable families make meaningful change.

About the role

As a Family Recovery Coordinator you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality person-centred support by:

  • Supporting individuals and families from initial engagement through to recovery and reintegration
  • Delivering assessments recovery plans and psychosocial interventions
  • Working intensively with families experiencing drug and/or alcohol-related challenges
  • Providing both 1:1 and group interventions (e.g. recovery programmes parenting support)
  • Conducting home visits and parenting assessments
  • Attending and contributing to Child Protection Conferences and multi-agency meetings
  • Promoting recovery resilience and social reintegration into the community
  • Supporting access to education employment and life skills

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team building strong partnerships with Childrens Services health professionals and community organisations.
