As a Recovery Coordinator youll work closely with individuals using our services supporting and empowering them to achieve their goals and build a brighter future. Every day youll help people take meaningful steps towards the life they want to this role youll be part of the West Sussex Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Network working within the West Team across two hubs in Bognor Regis and Chichester.

Hours: Full Time 37.5 per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

You will primarily work within our Generic Team with opportunities to support other teams depending on service needs. The team provides person-centred support to individuals experiencing drug and alcohol issues helping them achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will manage a structured caseload of clients ensuring consistent engagement and delivery of high-quality support. You will provide tailored interventions to meet individual needs while maintaining accurate timely and detailed case records. An excellent understanding of safeguarding is essential as you will be required to identify assess and respond appropriately to risk.

You will liaise effectively with external agencies and partner organisations to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to care. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment demonstrating adaptability and the ability to respond positively to changing priorities and service demands.

The service operates flexibly to meet client needs including a late opening during the week and Saturday morning provision. Recovery Coordinators are expected to work during these times as required participating in a rota system to ensure consistent service delivery.

About You

You will have strong communication and active listening skills with the ability to build positive relationships with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. You will be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment showing flexibility and resilience when priorities need to change.

Attention to detail is essential alongside confidence in completing administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records. You will have a good understanding of safeguarding principles and either experience in or the ability to develop skills in managing a caseload. Strong IT skills are essential as you will be required to use digital systems for recording reporting and communication within the service.
