Job Summary
Were looking for a Record to Report (R2R) Analyst to join our Finance Operations team in Birchwood. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional to support financial accounting reporting and month-end activities across a complex multi-entity business while contributing to process improvements and operational excellence.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end quarter-end and year-end close activities across multiple legal entities.
- Prepare and post journals including accruals prepayments payroll intercompany transactions and other adjustments.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations investigate variances and resolve outstanding items.
- Support statutory accounting requirements year-end audits and the preparation of financial reporting and financial statements.
- Work closely with Finance Business Partners and wider finance stakeholders to process and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with internal controls accounting policies and reporting standards.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role youll have:
- Part-qualified ACA ACCA or CIMA status or be working towards a professional accounting qualification.
- Experience within a Financial Accounting Record to Report or General Ledger environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Strong analytical skills excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Experience using SAP.
- Experience working within a shared services or multi-entity environment.
- Exposure to process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives.
