Join Our Friendly Veterinary Team

Grange Veterinary Surgery is looking for a friendly organised and compassionate Receptionist to join our busy small animal practice in Norton.

As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets youll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting our clinical team in a fast-paced environment.


About the Role

Key duties include:

  • Welcoming clients and pets to the practice
  • Managing telephone enquiries and booking appointments
  • Handling payments and discussing treatment costs
  • Promoting our Pet Health Plan
  • Processing insurance claims and general administration
  • Managing emails filing and record keeping
  • Supporting vets and nurses with administrative tasks
  • Dispensing medication in line with practice procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and professional reception area


About You

Were looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in a customer-facing role ideally within a busy environment
  • Is confident discussing financial matters with clients
  • Has strong communication and organisation skills
  • Is comfortable using computer systems
  • Remains calm and professional during emotional or challenging situations
  • Is flexible and enjoys working as part of a supportive team


Working Pattern

  • 28.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • Saturday mornings on a rota basis

Grange Veterinary Surgery is a well-established and recently refurbished small animal practice with modern facilities including separate dog and cat wards digital x-ray ultrasound dental facilities and spacious consultation rooms.

Our experienced team consists of 4 vets 4 RVNs and 4 receptionists creating a friendly and collaborative working environment.
