Real Estate Lawyer (Managing Associate)

Location: Manchester

Salary: 90000 to 120000 bonus and benefits

Experience: 5 years PQE

Our client is looking to recruit a Managing Associate into its Real Estate team in Manchester.

This is a great opportunity for a commercial property lawyer who wants a varied high-quality workload strong client exposure and the chance to take on more responsibility as part of a busy and growing team. You will manage your own matters while also working closely with partners on major high-value transactions. If you have started to develop a specialism within commercial property the team will support you in deepening your expertise and building your profile.

A key part of the role is supporting the development of junior colleagues through supervision mentoring and knowledge sharing.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Advising on a broad range of commercial property and real estate matters
  • Managing landlord and tenant work property management matters and sales and acquisitions
  • Supporting on large-scale high-value transactions and complex projects
  • Managing project workstreams including large-scale lease or easement roll-outs
  • Working closely with colleagues across the team to deliver high standards of client service
  • Using legal technology to support efficient delivery and project management
  • Building client relationships and contributing to business development activity
  • Supervising mentoring and developing junior team members

What Were Looking For

Essential

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales
  • 5 years PQE with strong experience in commercial property and real estate matters
  • Strong commercial judgement and a solutions-led approach
  • Confidence managing stakeholders at all levels internally and externally
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • A collaborative approach and genuine interest in developing others

Desirable

  • Experience supporting large-scale development regeneration or portfolio work
  • Interest in process improvement and the practical use of legal technology
