The R&D Scientist is responsible for generating data for the development and innovation of new Laboratory products.

This is a 13-month FTC.

This position reports to the Principal Scientist/Lab Manager and is part of the R&D Discovery team located in Harbourgate Portsmouth UK and will be an onsite role.

What you will do:
Executing protocols & testing in Biochemistry (protein analysis) Molecular Biology (DNA / extraction) Microbiology (cell cultures) to characterize Cytiva Life Science products
Troubleshooting protocols as necessary
Generating and interpreting data to assign tasks for projects
Writing technical reports and presentations
Compliance with H&S requirements

Who you are:

BSc in Biochemistry (or related Scientific discipline) & 0-2 years Experience
