We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Site Assistant to support the smooth operation of the school premises. The role will involve general maintenance site checks health and safety security cleaning and supporting contractors and school staff where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager with the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the school site.

• Carry out routine site checks and report maintenance safety or security issues.

• Complete minor repairs and general maintenance tasks where appropriate.

• Assist with setting up and clearing rooms furniture and equipment for school activities and events.

• Support contractors and external service providers working on site.

• Help maintain the cleanliness appearance and general condition of school buildings and grounds.

• Assist with opening and securing the school premises.

• Support health and safety procedures including maintaining safe access around the school.

• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance or site issues.

• Contribute to providing a safe welcoming and well-maintained environment for pupils staff and visitors.

• Previous experience in a maintenance caretaking facilities or practical role is desirable.
