Role Accountabilities

• Contribute to the successful delivery of rail systems design integration assurance and engineering activities across major rail programmes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams clients contractors and stakeholders to develop and deliver integrated rail systems solutions.
• Support the development coordination and verification of systems engineering requirements throughout project lifecycles.
• Apply systems thinking to solve complex technical and operational challenges.
• Contribute to safety reliability performance and operational readiness objectives.
• Participate in systems integration interface management and assurance activities.
• Support the development of innovative sustainable and efficient engineering solutions.
• Share technical knowledge and contribute to a culture of collaboration continuous improvement and professional development.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and project partners while supporting successful project outcomes.
• Help deliver infrastructure that improves connectivity enhances passenger experience and creates long-term value for communities.

Qualifications & Experience

We welcome applications from professionals at all career stages including graduates engineers senior engineers principal engineers and technical specialists.

• Experience within rail systems engineering or a related rail discipline.
• Knowledge of one or more rail systems areas such as signalling telecoms E&P traction power SCADA control systems systems integration systems assurance or systems engineering.
• Understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle delivery within complex infrastructure programmes.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments.
• Ability to analyse technical challenges and contribute to practical effective solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to collaboration safety and continuous learning.
• Professional qualifications chartership or progress towards professional registration are welcome but not essential.
• A passion for delivering infrastructure that creates lasting benefits for passengers communities and future generations.
• Due to the nature of some of the projects we deliver successful candidates may be required to obtain and maintain BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance. Support will be provided throughout the process where applicable.
