Job Summary
Requirements
- Primary medical qualification (MBBS MBChB or equivalent) recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise and entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Clinical Radiology (via CCT CESR or recognised equivalent).
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) or recognised equivalent.
- Active membership of and CPD compliance with the Royal College of Radiologists.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-CCT (or equivalent) experience preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in musculoskeletal abdominal and cardiovascular imaging is desirable; experience in metabolic imaging modalities (e.g. DEXA CT calcium scoring hepatic MRI/MR elastography) is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with PACS / RIS systems and digital radiology workflows.
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills with meticulous attention to clinical detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) to the standard required by the GMC.
