The Role

Were looking for a driven Quantity Surveyor to join AIM in Emsworth. Youll play a key role in managing project costs reducing risk and delivering value across a range of construction projectsfrom tender stage through to final accounts.

What Youll Be Doing

• Preparing cost estimates tenders and bills of quantities
• Analysing project documentation and supplier/subcontractor proposals
• Managing project costs budgets and cashflow
• Carrying out risk management and value engineering
• Supporting procurement strategy and project delivery
• Managing valuations and subcontractor applications
• Producing CVRs forecasts and financial reports
• Preparing final accounts
• Supporting pre-construction and tender submissions
• Maintaining strong Health & Safety awareness

What Were Looking For

• Degree in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management (or equivalent experience)
• Previous QS or similar experience
• Strong estimating and cost control knowledge
• Good understanding of construction methods materials and regulations
• Strong communication analytical and negotiation skills
