Quantitative Strategy Developer Internship Summer 2027 (London)

Susquehanna is looking for highly motivated full-time students for our 10-week quantitative strategy development summer internship program based between our EU Headquarters in Dublin Ireland and our London office.

This is a computationally intensive role that will allow you to use your strong technical skills to solve problems at the intersection of tradingquantand technology.

Throughout the summer you will receive education about how markets work by going through a deep dive into financial markets and Susquehannas approach to trading. You will also work on challenging projects for our trading strategy development teams in spaces such as signal creation and detection quantitative strategy analysis and low latency C strategy development. Additionallyyoullhave the opportunity to work on projects side by side with senior developers who understand the nuances of building complex trading strategies.

Our quantitative strategy developers arepart ofourhigh-performing teamsthatbuildsome of the most powerful trading systems in the finance industry. This is a computationally intensive role that will allow you toutilizeboth your data analysis and technology skills.

Class of 2028:You are a masters or bachelors student in theirpenultimateyear of study majoring ina quantitativeand/or STEM discipline such ascomputer science computer engineeringmathematicsor data science for example.You intend to graduate and beginfull timeemploymentby August 2028.

Clear Communicator:You enjoy building relationships with those you work closely with and are comfortable sharing ideas expressing your thoughts and listening to the views of others.

Ambitious:Youresomeone that enjoys setting personal goals and givingyourall to achieve them. Be it in Arts Sports Academics or another passion;yourenot afraid to put in the effort to reach your full potential.

Technically Proficient:Strong software development skills in (Python and a compiledlanguage).Experience and comfort working with data using libraries such as Pandas Polars or NumPy. You will have exceptional quantitative logical reasoning and analytical skills.

Problem Solver:When it comes tosolving problems you use clear and sound reasoning.Yourerational and like to use numbers and data tocome up withsensible solutions.

The interview process for this role will be a series ofinterviewsincluding coding mathematics systemdesignand behavioural interviews.

Our summer internship is10weeksandruns from late June to late August.
