Position: Public Policy Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50$60/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 1520 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Work asynchronously with a team of highly qualified experts across your domain.
• Craft policy research tasks involving legislative tracking federal budget data extraction and regulatory database searches across government portals.
• Create detailed evaluation rubrics for AI agent performance.
• Collaborate to inform the future of AI innovation with real-world applicability.
• Shape high-quality challenging problems in your domain expertise.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• PhD or Masters in Public Policy Economics Political Science Public Administration or related field from a top US/Canada/UK/New Zealand/Australia university.
• Experience with government databases (OpenStates OMB federal agency data portals Congressional Research Service).
• 2 years of professional experience in government think tanks policy research or public sector consulting.
• High attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent proficiency in English.
• Currently based in the U.S. Canada New Zealand UK or Australia.

Start Date

• Early December; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
