- This role is a 6-7 month contract with a local authority offering a daily rate of 243.28 under an umbrella arrangement. The Public Health Intelligence Officer plays a crucial role in advancing public health and community safety initiatives. This position involves gathering analyzing and presenting health and safety data to inform strategic development implementation and evaluation of relevant programs.
- Gather manage and interpret data related to public health population demographics and community safety from various sources.
- Conduct thorough statistical analyses to provide evidence-based intelligence for strategic and operational decisions.
- Track and report on trends in public health outcomes crime anti-social behavior domestic abuse violence against women and girls (VAWG) knife crime and other community safety concerns.
- Perform forecasting needs assessments demand analysis and population health evaluations to aid in service planning.
- Analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to uncover trends patterns risks and emerging issues.
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based policies and initiatives aimed at improving services.
- Extensive experience in Public Health Health Intelligence Community Safety Research Epidemiology or a similar analytical field.
- Proficiency in analyzing large and complex datasets to guide service planning and decision-making.
- Proven ability to produce analytical reports intelligence products dashboards and performance evaluations.
- A degree in Public Health Health Sciences Statistics Social Sciences Epidemiology Geography Data Analytics or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in public health intelligence analytics research or data management.
- Working hours are 37 hours per week.
- Location: 25 Windsor Road Slough Berkshire SL1 2EJ United Kingdom.
- Work pattern includes two days in the office per week.
- Payments are processed on a bi-weekly schedule.
