The Role

Our client is currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join a secondary school in Luton. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Psychology lessons that enable students to develop a detailed understanding of human behaviour psychological theories research methods and contemporary issues.

The ideal applicant will be able to make complex psychological concepts accessible to students and use a variety of teaching approaches to maintain engagement. Lessons should encourage students to analyse evidence evaluate different perspectives and develop well-supported arguments.

In addition to classroom teaching the successful Psychology Teacher will assess student work monitor progress and provide clear feedback to support improvement. You will also contribute to curriculum planning and work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards across the department.

This would be an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Teacher who is enthusiastic about their subject and enjoys helping students develop their analytical and critical-thinking skills. Experience and Qualifications
  • Psychology Teacher with relevant subject knowledge

  • Ability to teach Psychology and related Social Sciences where required

  • Formal teaching qualification with QTS such as a PGCE

  • Strong understanding of Psychology and assessment requirements

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Legal ability to work within the UK
