Job Summary
A thriving secondary school in Boston is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology Teacher to join its department on a full-time basis starting ASAP.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Psychology specialist who enjoys inspiring students and delivering engaging lessons that encourage curiosity critical thinking and strong academic progress.
The successful candidate will teach Psychology across KS4 and KS5 delivering high-quality lessons and supporting students as they develop a deeper understanding of psychological theories research and human behaviour.
You will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging Psychology lessons across KS4 and KS5
Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations
Developing students analytical evaluative and research skills
Differentiating teaching to meet a range of abilities
Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback
Contributing to the wider life of the department and school
The ideal Psychology Teacher will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience teaching Psychology in a secondary school or sixth-form environment
Have strong subject knowledge across the Psychology curriculum
Be confident teaching students across KS4 and KS5
Demonstrate effective classroom management and communication skills
Be committed to achieving strong outcomes for students
