This is a strong opportunity for a Psychology specialist who enjoys combining academic rigour with engaging discussion and real-world examples.

You will teach Psychology primarily at GCSE and A-Level helping students develop their understanding of psychological approaches research methods and key areas of behaviour. You will need to prepare students thoroughly for examinations while developing their ability to analyse evidence and construct well-supported arguments.

The successful candidate will be confident teaching both content and examination technique and will understand the importance of developing students written responses throughout the course.

Psychology Teacher - Curriculum

The Psychology curriculum will require students to develop a secure understanding of key theories and approaches while also learning how psychological research is conducted and evaluated.

Research methods will be particularly important. Students need to understand how studies are designed how data can be collected and interpreted and how conclusions should be evaluated.

  • A-Level Psychology experience desirable
