A secondary school in Brighton is looking to appoint an engaging and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to support its Social Sciences provision. This opportunity would suit a teacher who enjoys exploring human behaviour and can help students develop the analytical skills required for successful examination performance.

You will deliver lessons that introduce students to psychological theories research methods and explanations of human behaviour. Topics may include memory attachment social influence psychopathology biopsychology and approaches in psychology depending on the examination specification taught.

Students will be encouraged to evaluate research interpret findings and develop balanced arguments supported by psychological evidence. You will explain complex concepts clearly and use appropriate studies and real-world examples to make the subject accessible.

Assessment preparation will form an important part of the role. You will help students develop examination technique structure extended responses and understand how to apply psychological knowledge to unfamiliar scenarios.
